We feel our effort to focus on our clients' needs translates into design solutions that distinguish our work. Our goal as designers is to create buildings that respond to the surroundings within which they exist. This helps to tie the building into a uniform concept within a consistent vocabulary. The end result is a house that fits the client and its context. |

Our small firm primarily designs houses here on the coast of Maine since 1977. These homes have received awards and been published in many magazines. Our goal is to merge our design skills and knowledge of building on the Maine coast with individual client's desires about what kind of a home will work for them. Out of this partnership we can create a house that will be a reflection of each client's personality and one that feels at home on its site. |

(Rt. 15 N)
PO Box 854
Blue Hill, Maine 04614
207-374-2510 |
Randy Eckard Gallery opened in the summer of 1993. Randy's watercolors capture the charm and beauty of coastal Maine architecture and landscape. As he has for all of his years working with watercolor, Randy still finds light to be the driving force behind his subjects. Randy's paintings are much more than realistic interpretations of the landscape of coastal Maine. They are about capturing the quality and essence of a weathered surface, of a salt marsh in early autumn or of a reflection on nearly, calm waters.
